In accordance with President Wilson's order to place United States troops along the Mexican border, Missouri sent elements from the National Guard to patrol the line. This database contains a listing of those men who served along the border in 1915 and 1916. It lists the names of over 5500 men, and provides the serviceman's rank, unit information, and when they were organized. For researchers of early twentieth century Missouri ancestors, this can be a helpful source of information.
